Julieanne is the founding shareholder of Steinbacher, Goodall & Yurchak, an elder care and special needs law firm established in 2002 and President of Estate and Long Term Care Planning, Inc. Julieanne is a Certified Elder Law Attorney (CELA) through the National Elder Law Foundation. She has a “Superb” AVVO Rating for attorneys and was a Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2013. Julieanne is also a recipient of a 2015 Pennsylvania Bar Association Special Achievement Award, which was given to her for her dedication and commitment to the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Quality of Life & Balance Committee, of which she has co-chaired the past three years. A significant portion of her elder law practice is focused on estate and long-term care planning. As an attorney, her goal is to provide a bridge between legal services and the aging network.

Julieanne has extensive lecturing experience as a speaker for The Pennsylvania State University Tax Institutes and Tax Week, PICPA-Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants, National Association of Tax Practitioners – PA Chapter, Pennsylvania Society of Public Accountants, Pennsylvania Bar Institute, Elder Law Institute, Pennsylvania Bar Association, Back to Basics, Tax Pro Seminars, and the University of Illinois. In addition, she has conducted numerous local, state, and national seminars for various organizations. Most recently, on April 22, 2016, Julieanne presented, “The Intersection of the Legal and Medical World,” at the Kasem Cares Conference on Aging in Orange County, CA.

Through Estate & Long Term Care Planning, Inc., Julieanne provides continuing education for the public and professionals in Pennsylvania and coaching for attorneys throughout the nation. She has written materials published by the University of Illinois on estates, trusts, and taxation. She also has published materials in various newsletters and newspapers. Julieanne co-authored two books about trusts, Pennsylvania Trust Guide (Edition I and II) and the Pennsylvania Special Needs Planning Guide, both published by George T. Bisel Company, Inc. Most recently, Julieanne joined nine other leading elder law attorneys from across the nation to co-author Protect Your Family! Don’t Write a Blank Check to the Nursing Home, a collaborative writing, broken down in layman’s terms, offering readers the essential tools and knowledge for effective long-term care planning. She is also a co-author of Protect your Family! What You Really Need to Know for the Second Half of Life.

Julieanne resides in a rural area outside Williamsport, PA with her husband, Donald, and their three children.

Dominic Loffredo

Director of Operations

Dominic “Dom” is a graduate from Lycoming College in Williamsport, Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration and Corporate Communication. Dom joined The Million Dollar Solution Team in May of 2019 as a Communications Coordinator. Since May 2020, Dom oversees daily business activities, manages resources, establish and grow member relationships, implement procedures to fulfill member needs and requests, coordinate educational webinars, and direct planning and strategy for live and virtual events. 

Dom’s personal guiding principles are the following: integrity, communication, and dependability. Through these principles, Dom strives to deliver exceptional service to our members and their staff at all times. He also appreciates opportunities to increase productivity, process, and procedures using a variety of organizational strategies which he has learned by working with attorney’s, financial advisors, and other professionals throughout his career.

In his spare time, Dom enjoys traveling and exploring the great outdoors with his wife Isabella and daughter Magnolia.

Jenna L. Franks, Esquire

Esquire, Partner, Steinbacher, Goodall, & Yurchak 

Jenna L. Franks is a Partner at Steinbacher, Goodall & Yurchak licensed to practice law in both Pennsylvania and Florida. She practices out the firm’s State College location and leads the team there on all pre-planning clients. Jenna has the largest team within the Steinbacher firm, which comes with many managing difficulties. In working with Julie, she has learned how to create layers of middle-management, set boundaries within her team, and to delegate so that her clients still receive the best possible service while also keeping her team happy and content. Jenna’s State College team has seen exponential growth over the past 5 years and we are very excited to see what the team has in store for the future! 

Jenna is also heavily involved in the firm’s marketing department and her team is commonly involved in testing out new marketing techniques and strategies. 

Jenna has presented for MDS for years, but has more recently become engaged in coaching for members. She has a passion for learning and engaging with other like-minded individuals and she is excited to be a part of the “think tank” that MDS has become. 

Kristin Daugherty

Long-Term Care Planner, Certified Medicaid Planner™ at Steinbacher, Goodall, & Yurchak 

 Kristin joined Steinbacher, Goodall & Yurchak as a long-term care planner in 2011 but has become so much more to the firm. She is always eager to help her team and clients. As a long-term care planner, Kristin works closely with the firm’s attorneys to provide clients a range of services, including counseling and guidance on the selection of long-term care options such as Medicare, Medicaid, and Veterans benefits. Most of her time is spent assisting our clients and their families in navigating the complexity of Medicaid benefits and more specifically qualifying them for Medicaid, while protecting their hard-earned assets.   

Kristin has many specialized designations such as being one of the handful of Certified Medicaid Planners™ in Pennsylvania, a Certified Dementia Practitioner, and an Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia Care Trainer. In the past, Kristin was also trained through the Pennsylvania Institute of Protective Services to perform Older Adult Protective Services for individuals at high risk for abuse and neglect. Prior to joining Steinbacher, Goodall & Yurchak, Kristin worked for the Area Agency on Aging for 5 years assisting her clients in obtaining in-home care services.    

Kristin has been involved presenting for MDS for many years, although more recently this has developed into a coaching role with the current and new members. She is looking forward to continuing to grow her relationship with existing MDS members and meeting new members. One of Kristin’s favorite aspects of MDS is how much take away she gets after every meeting with the members. She is looking forward to continuing to grow with each and every one of the coaching members so we can work together to serve our clients to the best of our abilities.  

Cortney Steinbacher

 

Business Financial Planner and Analyst

Cortney is the Business Financial Planner and Analyst of Steinbacher, Goodall & Yurchak and has been with the firm since March 2021. She began her career with the law firm as a Senior Staff Accountant and transitioned to the Business Financial Planner and Analyst in 2022. Cortney is also the Staff Accountant for the Million Dollar Solution, performing daily bookkeeping tasks and assisting members on a review of their own financial department procedures.

Cortney graduated from Northeastern University with her Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting and Finance. Cortney also graduated from Northeastern University with her Master’s of Science in Accounting in 2018. Prior to working at Steinbacher, Goodall & Yurchak, Cortney began her career in public accounting at RSM in Boston. Cortney’s experience as an auditor has enabled her to help members review their finance department procedures and execute more efficient policies.

Cortney resides in Boston, MA. In her free time Cortney enjoys reading and traveling.

Cheryl Shevy

Digital Marketing Specialist 

Cheryl’s background is in Internet Marketing, Ecommerce, Web Development and Administrative duties.  Earning her Associate Degree in Web Development she decided to continue her education earning a Bachelor Degree of Business in Internet Marketing.  Cheryl joined The Million Dollar Solution in December of 2021 and will be handling a variety of marketing tasks from social media to conference preparation.  

Cheryl enjoys being involved in a variety of activities.  She has volunteered to be an Awana Leader at their church and the Parent-Teacher Network Secretary at school.  For several years, Cheryl has also volunteered to be the Hockey Team Manager for her son’s hockey team.   

Cheryl resides in Green Bay, WI with her husband and son.  She enjoys going on walks and hikes throughout the year.  In summer, Cheryl enjoys camping and swimming.  In winter, she enjoys watching her son play hockey, going skiing and attending the Green Bay Gambler junior hockey games.  Other hobbies Cheryl likes is making crafts and baking

Alex Laubscher

Marketing Intern

Alex is currently a student at Lycoming College majoring in Corporate Communications and minoring in Commercial Design. Alex joined the Million Dollar Solution team in December of 2020. Alex oversees various tasks ranging from social media, creating graphic designs, conference preparation, and other administrative duties.

In his spare time, Alex enjoys playing the guitar, creating art, and going on hikes.

Lauren’s background is in sales and marketing, and she is an Infusionsoft expert with over 10 years’ experience. While she has worked with businesses in many different industries, she has been partnering with Million Dollar Solution members for about six years, so she’s familiar with the unique needs of elder law & estate planning firms. She enjoys working with her clients to solve problems, build sales funnels, and streamline processes. When she’s not building out Infusionsoft campaigns, she enjoys cooking, reading, travel, and spending time with her husband and dog.

In 2002, I became a Mom for the first time.  It was wonderful and scary at the same time.  Wonderful to hold my little baby girl, but stressful because I knew I’d have to give up holding my little girl to return to work in a few short months.  I was torn.  Many people would think I was about to have it all.  I had a flexible, part-time management role all set up to return to upon the end of my leave with a big 4 accounting firm.  So, I went back… that day in October 2002, and I resigned.  It was not easy.  I was the primary wage earner of our family and in a nutshell…my personal values were not aligned with my job at the time.  I wanted to be in control of my time and my career.  And, so began my journey.

I have spent much of my career focused on building, managing and implementing employee infrastructure and processes for my clients as well as recruiting, coaching and developing individuals to maximize their contributions. Business owners and employees alike want to succeed and I’m a firm believer in playing to strengths- to bring out the best in both even when navigating the often tricky issues that arise. No matter the industry, job or career, and I’ve worked with quite a few… from attorneys to accountants to engineers to orthodontists to non-profit professionals to truck drivers to teachers to those in the health care field, those in the military, students to archivists to leaders and managers… the principles remain the same.  And, this has been my passion and focus. I’ve earned the reputation as a solution-oriented, trusted advisor of best practices in career development and talent management to businesses and individuals alike.  I’m grateful for each opportunity to partner and serve.

Now the technical stuff… I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resources Management from King’s College in Wilkes-Barre, PA. Since 2013, I’ve been a Senior Certified Professional with the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM-SCP), and I’ve also been a Kolbe Certified Consultant since 2016. 

I began my career at PHICO, a medical malpractice insurance company, as a compensation analyst and then moved into various roles at PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PwC).  Having a strong foundation in Human Resources Management has enabled me to easily partner with and build relationships with various leaders, managers and individuals in a multitude of industries.  I’ve helped organizations hire, build and develop teams and individuals with ideal synergy. I’ve successfully coached and navigated tricky working relationships and provided solutions for individuals and teams to move forward productively. Having also owned a Human Resources consulting and career coaching business previously, I’ve been lucky to see, work with and experience first hand many careers and jobs available.  What makes me unique is that I’m also a recruiter.  So, I can share with my career clients in particular the “inside scoop” of what recruiters look for and want when sourcing and hiring for a job. Likewise, I can advise my business clients effectively based upon the talent shortage what my career clients are seeking.

I’ve had a lot of fun facilitating numerous workshops and training sessions around the country for various audiences on national stages in Las Vegas, Kansas City, Nashville, Orlando, and San Diego to name a few.  Some topics presented included: Leading the Generations, Workforce of the Future, Managing Your Human Resources, Need Talent? Secrets Behind Successful Recruiting, Interview Like a Champ, Managing Employee Performance, Many Expectations- Limited Budget: 5 Ways to Put the WOW into Employee Engagement, Winning the Talent War, and Ready, Set Assimilate- Before It’s Too Late to name a few. 

When I’m not serving my clients or spending time with my family, I love to give back to my community.  I’m an active volunteer at St. Theresa Parish and School as well as Trinity High School.  Prior leadership roles I’ve held include serving on the board of the Camp Hill Aquatic Club; programming committee for the local Business Women’s Forum; College Relations Chairperson for Human Resources Professionals of Central PA, and advisory board member of the Jobs Assistance Ministry serving those in job transition for St. Michael Church in Richmond, VA.  I’ve also volunteered at the Carlisle Barracks facilitating workshops on personal branding for transitioning military in Pennsylvania and various workshops for Dress for Success / Suits to Careers.
