Cortney is an alumnus of Northeastern University, where she attained her Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration, specializing in Accounting and Finance, followed by a Master of Science in Accounting in 2018. Cortney’s financial knowledge was further enriched by her internships, which played a pivotal role in shaping her expertise. At Ernst & Young, she honed her auditing skills, navigating the complexities of financial compliance and risk assessment with a keen eye for detail. Following this, her tenure at TJX companies allowed her to delve into the world of investigative analysis, where she analyzed vast datasets to identify patterns, trends, and exceptions to detect internal and external fraud. Her formative years in public accounting at RSM, Boston, equipped her with an extensive auditing background, enabling her to streamline finance department operations and implement policy improvements with remarkable efficiency. 

Cortney resides in Boston, MA, where you can find her after work walking her dog, Minnie, around the Boston Harbor. She also finds joy in the pages of a good book and the adventures that are found traveling the world.
